Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training is one of the most globally recognized training models for suicide intervention.
This two-day, in-person training experience provides participants with the knowledge and practice to develop essential suicide intervention skills equipping participants with the tools to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, provide a skilled intervention and developing a plan for keeping someone alive.
ASIST is a great addition to the CISM Training, and for best practices, it is recommended to have at least one or two members of your CISM Team maintain current certification in ASIST.
